Camping in NC

We spent the night in a hotel Thursday night after the movers left so we could plan our camping trip.  We decided to head to Robbinsville, NC and raft the Cheoah River.  We found a beautiful campsite at Lake Santeetlah, these pictures were the views from our campsite.  It is the prettiest lake.  We cooked out burgers and camped Friday night.  After a not so good night's sleep... Paxton snored all night... we set out to the river.  The Cheoah River is only run 16 times a year.  It has lots of Class V rapids back to back to back.  It was very intense, but amazing.  After that, we went to pick up Deuce back in Asheville.  We decided to eat dinner downtown.  Deuce actually got us a table at a restaurant.  Nobody would seat us outside with a dog except this one place.  At first the hostess was hesitant and said it would be a long wait.  But after being around Deuce, the guy said he liked our dog and wanted us to be seated right away.  Then he introduced Deuce to the waiter and told him to get Deuce some water.  Deuce was definitely a hit.  Everyone that walked by had to stop and pet him.  After that, we drove to Knoxville and spent the night at a pet friendly hotel.
